Journaling for oneself is a beautiful practice, but having someone to share with and then, in turn, receiving a letter in the mail from someone who cares, can make an enormous impact on our mood in an all-too-often screen-centric, digitalized world.

A letter is something you can return to again and again in moments of hardship. It is a physical manifestation of emotional investment and time. I hope that through this process of letter writing you come to unearth a piece of yourself.

I want to help you feel heard, seen, and understood. I want to provide you with tangible proof that you matter. Share your dreams, share your worries, share your loss, share you. I’m here.

Welcome home, dear heart.

About Me

Hi, I’m Michelle.

Writing and forging deep connections with people are two of my greatest joys in life, and I have found that writing letters combines both of these passions for me in a unique way. Several years ago, it occurred to me how meaningful letter writing has been in my life, and thus blossomed the idea to start a business that could share that love of writing and the gift of letters with others. Letter writing is an act of care that has shaped my life for the better, and I hope that can reach all those who think they would benefit from it.

Whether you have a dream that you haven’t told anyone yet, a challenge that you are facing and have struggled to verbalize, or a loneliness you can’t shake, my goal is to help you find a place to express that.

I am passionate about communication, honesty, and expressing our truths. I find meaning in the little moments, the memories that make up our unique, individual stories, and I’m looking forward to hearing yours.

Why Write Letters?

Writing letters is therapeutic. It is a lifestyle choice. Each day we have the option to choose small actions to inspire a positive mental state. We can consider what brings us joy and what encourages our mental health. I see writing letters as a practice in wellbeing. It is a way to hold yourself accountable to expressing your concerns, hopes, issues, and emotions to another person. It is a place to quiet the mind and to make patience a habit.

This is also a movement back to simplicity. A return to the act of setting time aside to think about how to express yourself in a meaningful way. By writing a letter to me, you can be sure that I will hold space for you, embrace your words, and thoughtfully respond. Beyond the positive impact the process of writing has, you will also receive the delight of going to the mailbox to find a handwritten response written just for you.
